Game Night & Sleep Over....

While James and Jimmy were at the Father Son camp out, Tiara and I decided to put together a little Game night and Sleep over with a few of her friends from school. Because of the distance, we don't usually have their school friends over... but with a little planning, Tiara and I pulled off a pretty successful and fun night... We started with a little Mexican Train, but third graders haven't quite grasped the whole sit and socialize and play games routine... so they broke out in dance and song when I played some of the school music that they've been learning in music class...

They were quite the performers....

Realizing they didn't have the attention span for Mexican Train, I decided to switch it up a bit and play Don't Eat Pete... A HUGE SUCCESS....

We had to move the game up to the table, since the ottoman was bouncy, and the candy was not staying in place...

I finally got to play, AND I WON... It was AWESOME, I won't lie, I loved the attention... LOL!

It was still light out, and Simon's mom hadn't picked him up yet, so we went back outside to play more... Burn off some of that sugar we had just eaten... We did pyramids and lifts...

And a little tug a war with the only boy there... I'm pretty sure it's not technically tourture ...

After Simon & Sophie went home, the rest of us got in our pajama's and settled in on the sectional for a quiet movie.... Or at least that was my plan... I thought i'll put in Sound of Music, or Anne of Green Gables... Something really slow and LONG.... I figured they would be out by 10:00pm... But NO DEAL.... they must have been on to me... they veto'd the movie when we were only half way through the first Disc of the three disc series of ANNE of Green Gables... LOL... they put in something more upbeat... Some anamated Disney flick, had a pillow fight and stayed up untill Midnight....

I was exhausted, but for reasons beyond my control, I couldn't sleep and stayed up till 2:00am and got woke up by the giggling girls at 6:00 am.... I'm still trying to catch up on that sleep I lost... But all and all, it was a lot of fun.

A Bakugan Birthday!!!

Jimmy Turned 7 on the 14th, and had a fun filled Birthday weekend...
His First grade music presentation was Thursday on his Birthday, so before we all went to that, we went out to dinner to Applebee's to celebrate and so he can open his presents!!!

James and I took him out to lunch for Pizza and he was surprised to see the car all decorated for him... It was the Birthday Mobile!!!! He started a trend... The next day it was his friend Patrick's Birthday, and his mom informed me that she had to take him out to lunch to Pizza for his birthday, since Jimmy got to do it... LOL...

After his class presentation we went out to dessert to Claim Jumpers... They had build your own sundaes that Jimmy had fun concocting...

What is a Bakugan Birthday you ask??? It's a birthday where you get tons of Bakugan things that you ask for.... James got him a Bakugan skateboard....

Tiara picked out a few actual Bakugans for him... One medium size one, one small keychain Bakugan, and a Bakugan Launcher for all the small ones he already had.

He also got lots of other fun things, like a GIANT nurf gun, drum sticks, stickers, travel connect four, a label maker, and TWO GIANTS T-shirts.... and other stuff, I can't list it all....

Tiara also got him a Giant Bakugan that he LOVES!!

Friday night he went on a father son camp-out with his dad and they got to sleep in the truck tent and roast starburst and have tons of fun... But that was not the end of it... Saturday after his camp out, He was invited to his friend Patricks Birthday Party, and it was AWESOME... it was STAR WAR themed, and Jimmy LOVES Star Wars.... Darth Vader even made an appearance... These pictures are from Patricks Party...

7th Heaven

Jimmy's long anticipated 7th birthday is here...
Though at times it seemed that the excitement of the long awaited event might be too much to handle, he seems to be managing well.
He got to leave school to have pizza for lunch, and will  be choosing a place for his birthday dinner before singing in his spring school program tonight. There are lots of presents to be opened. More news to follow.
