Easter Pics

Funny story.... Jimmy had really wanted a NEW Easter Basket, so he hid his basket from last year so the Easter bunny would have to leave him a new one... And it worked....
But not realizing the way it looked, the Easter bunny put his old basket by his bed empty... so he could use it to collect eggs.... since his new basket was down stairs on the kitchen counter full of goodies.... And when Jimmy woke up at 3:00 in the morning he saw the empty Easter basket by this bed and thought the Easter bunny didn't leave him anything.... He sat outside our bed room door on the floor with his empty Easter basket sniffling and crying.... I didn't even hear him, but it woke James up and i heard James ask him what was wrong and why he was sitting there crying.... (Poor little guy, I feel horrible but it makes me laugh every time i think about it...)
James convinced him he might not have came yet, and that if he's not in bed he might not.... and so we let him crawl in bed with us to assure he doesn't go down stairs and snoop around prematurely.... of course that only helped a few hours... by 6:00 am he was up again ready to go down... He's pretty sure he heard him too, because he heard walking around and a door open and close....



To their delight the Easter Bunny HAD come, and DID bring new baskets, that clever bunny...



Tiara got a white hat and gloves for Easter.... very pretty!



And they both got all sorts of goodies.... We'll have to have a talk with that Easter bunny about all the candy giving....





But in the Easter Bunnies defense there were recess peanut butter eggs.... my favorite.... So it's hard to complain too much!!!



When it eventually got light, and we woke up a little more, around 8:00 we finally let them peak outside and see if the EB hid the eggs we left that were no where in sight in the house....































Well we had fun celebrating the old German tradition....

Basketball 2009

It's Basketball season again... well, for the kids at least...













They do actually play Basketball too, not just dress up in uniform and play Foosball...
But these pictures are from my cell phone, I can't find the camera.... when I find it, i'll have the Easter Pictures too... LOL!

Disneyland Before and After fun...

Well we were sad that Wes wasn't able to meet us in Disneyland, so when we got back home to Grandma and Grandpa's, we were able to pretend he was with us by using his Cotton Candy Machine!!!











A trip to the creek is always a must do...

















I got my first kill on the ranch... by shooting a woodpecker...



Jimmy had a strange infatuation with it...



Finally we had him bury it behind the playhouse... LOL!!!



Coming home from Disneyland we did the scenic route up 101 through Big Sur I think it's called...









On our way down we stopped at the McKittrick property...
